Overview

DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I NEED BEFORE CONTACTING YOU?

No. Start with a question.

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH LIFE INSURANCE?

Our work includes protection, retirement, education, legacy, financial education, and related planning considerations.

IS IUL AN INVESTMENT?

No. IUL is life insurance with cash-value features.

CAN IUL HAVE A NEGATIVE INDEX CREDIT?

Under certain crediting methods, a negative index return may result in a zero index credit rather than a negative credit. However, policy charges and other factors can still reduce policy values.

ARE FIAs STOCK-MARKET INVESTMENTS?

No. They are insurance contracts with index-linked interest-crediting features under the contract.

ARE LIVING BENEFITS AUTOMATIC?

Not necessarily. They depend on the policy, rider, qualifying conditions, and carrier.

DOES A 529 AFFECT FAFSA?

Applicable 529 assets are included in FAFSA investment reporting. For the 2026-27 FAFSA, when parent information is required, qualified education benefits for that student are generally reported as a parent asset.

CAN A 529 BE USED OUTSIDE MY STATE?

Generally, yes. A beneficiary generally isn't limited to schools in the state sponsoring the plan, although the specific plan and state tax rules should be reviewed.

IS LIFE INSURANCE REPORTED AS AN ASSET ON FAFSA?

The current FAFSA instructions exclude the value of life insurance from investments reported on the FAFSA. This does not mean owning life insurance guarantees financial aid.

DO YOU PROVIDE TAX ADVICE?

No. We provide general financial education and encourage coordination with qualified tax professionals.

DO YOU PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE?

No. Estate and legal matters should be addressed with qualified attorneys.

WILL YOU TELL ME WHAT TO BUY?

We start with education and understanding. The decision remains yours.
